If you’ve ever had a pain in the neck then this is for you!
So…
This is important because if you don’t take care of your neck NOW then there is an increased chance of developing chronic pain. This includes headaches and limited mobility in your neck, that will likely have a flow on effect to impact how capable you feel in your body.
This will leave you frustrated and agitated with your lingering pain and problem. The best time to resolve neck issues is early as they are easier to treat and a solution can be found quickly.
I don’t want too see you go down this path..
I want you to have a neck that is strong, stable, and free of pain so that you can live your life and not be worried about the next time your neck will start acting up!
How does this sound? Pretty great right!
Let’s kick into it…
Here is what I want to share with you today!

Too addicted to hands on treatment
You need to address your strength deficits, do not rely on constant hands-on treatment on your problem areas. This kind of treatment should be in combination with a specific and tailored approach for strengthening the weaknesses in your body, not just treating them at surface level!
The result of constant hands on is you will feel better for a short period of time, but the problem will just come back.
Do you want a short term or a long-term solution?
There’s a place for both hands on and exercises in your rehab journey. I’ve seen time and time again that people aren’t approaching their rehab the right way and are heading for a body “tune up” every few weeks.
This is simply a band aid solution! It’s not treating the cause of the problem, leaving you frustrated and caught in the injury cycle.
2. The way you work
How we sit and work each day has a mammoth effect on our neck health. Imagine you’re working in an undesirable posture 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week… over time that will cause your neck, eyes, shoulders and back to become strained.
We are a society that relies on technology, but most of us have not adjusted our bodies to working with technology.
This can be easily rectified and can make a world of difference to that reoccurring neck pain you are experiencing.
Make sure you’re moving during the day, don’t sit stagnant, even if you’re standing up, moving your neck side to side. Make sure that your screen is level with your eyes! You don’t want to be looking up or down to your screen, this will (even if you don’t notice) have your neck at a constantly funny angle.
