Ross is amazing. After badly hurting my knee in footy I needed someone to show me proper rehab. I went to countless different Physio’s in order to get me back to playing as quickly as I could and none could get my knee to where it needed to be. I found Ross and he set me out a extremely detailed 12 week plan. After the first week I knew he was the man I needed to see. Couldn’t recommend more highly

I found Freedom Sports Medicine through the high reviews that it received. Came in with a case of tennis elbow which Ross treated amazingly. I’d never heard of shockwave therapy before, but I’m so glad I came here and got to go through it. Anyone with joint pain through injury that wants to get it fixed and get back to doing the activities they love, I really recommend Ross from Freedom Sports Medicine. The plan for rehab back to activity is all planned out with you and adds in a holistic approach while directly treating the injury. Thanks for your help.

Freedom has helped me work through injury to my achillies tendons. Through following their advice and help i went from being barely being able to play basketball for a few minutes to playing out full games and training. They helped me to get through this lingering injury that i was dealing with for almost a year in a few months. I was able to return to my representive level basketball healthy and strong which i had doubted being able to do. Special thanks to Dan and Freedom overall for their knowledge and guidance through this period would highly recommend anyone to use Freedom for any injuries old or new. They will get you back to doing what you love.
The staff, environment, patient experience and convenience of FSM are top notch. The therapists are so professional and extremely well informed about the latest protocols and best practices. They consult with each other continually; and they are great about educating patients on the recovery process. Especially for a runner or other athlete who wants to get back to competing or training, it seemed like the therapists really "got it" and offered lots of ideas for patients to maintain fitness, maximize recovery, and otherwise do everything possible to safely resume activity. I would recommend this practice to anyone of any age or treatment scenario - really excellent."

I've been seeing Daniel Cavallin for a few months now it's been amazing. I showed up suffering from severe lower back pain from ruptured disc injury and nerve pain through low back and left glute, after weeks of ongoing treatment and constant help I'm back training daily in weight training and multiple martial arts.When I first started with the program, I was very unhappy and in pain often. I was very sceptical with the program length and cost but after the sessions and on going support I highly recommend this physio over any of the multplie I've been to in the area.These guys and girls will put in the work to get you to your best but you have to put in the effort yourself to see the best results.They lay the platform and support you during this journey but you still have to put in the work it's not just rock up get a rub and move on stick to the program and the cost will definitely pay off.Highly recommendedGo add more to this review these guys set out a plan over some months that teach you how to develop yourself to fix and maintain your recover its not a sit and rub or hook up to a machine your are setup for success in your own treatment method and strength training and mobility workMight seem like a massive step signing up to the program but well worth it

I have been treated at freedom sports since I was young for various injuries during my sporting career with Ross and his team. Always with positive outcomes which got me back to my sport stronger than before. Recently I have partially ruptured my acl and I’m back at freedom sports getting help. Already I am feeling confident and progressing towards my physical goals once again guided by Ross and his awesome team to get back to sport. Dan has been amazing with moving me along with my rehab. I would thoroughly recommend freedom sports to anyone looking for a professional and helpful physio business to get you back on your feet as they a lovely and knowledgeable team.
Misleading. Not a sports medicine clinic as no actual sports doctors on site.They are a Physiotherapy clinic. And seems like they micromanage everyone.
Over 4 months ago I had a minor back injury and I was struggling to run without getting pain in my legs. Now after completing my physio training program I am now pain free and running powerful and strong, ready to complete a half marathon in a couple of months. I am now training at the gym, doing the exercises and running consistently and absolutely loving it. I can't thank Freedom Sports Movement enough for the encouragement, teaching and support. I've been to other physio's, but the consistency, support and dedication of the program and physio's at Freedom have helped create the results that I wanted, and have put me in the right path to meet my future goals.
I highly recommend Freedom Sports Medicine - they have established an excellent tailored plan for me that has had achievable goals. They've really helped me tackle a fairly chronic back issue that has plagued me for a few years now. It's not only the techniques that have been helpful, but they've explained the reasons behind everything. So I now have an understanding as to why I've had these issues in the first place. Again, I highly reccomend them as I could not be happier with how things have been going.
After being told I probably need a hip replacement they suggested Physio first.I decided to try Freedom Sports medicine. From the first visit my extreme pain was eased and has improved to a level I didn’t think was possible. A great place with outstanding friendly staff and a great culture. Hi Ross you possibly will not have the courage to listen to what I've already told you twice now.I stopped seeing your business as I came in for serious back problems and payed to get treated and diagnosed as you are professionals I thought.I was told that my back condition was muscular related and even after giving the practitioner my X-rays that showed a compression facture and also written in ink that I had a broken back on the radiologists notes. The practitioner told me he can't read X-rays or understand them which at least was honest.He should have referred my case to you personally.The practitioner advise was not to give up work , running or gym work with my condition which made my injury worse and even sold me a foam rollover to hypertension which further broke my back and continued the pain for a further 3 months until I sacked your staff member and continued my treatment with an osteopath that could read X-rays and read writing from the notes of the radiologist that I had a broken back.Please stop asking me to come back to your practice as you caused me three long months of pain and suffering which wasn't your intention clearly . However it is your responsibility to employ staff that are either qualified or have knowledge. That's why I pay you.I had to cancel my 100 ultratrail marathon down at Wilson prom because of this which was a life long dream of mine shattered.So please stop sending me promotional messages.But please have the courage to discuss this which is more important than you making your money. This was where my google first ended until you called me up after you read my google review.I also find it interesting how you ignored my calls or messages to discuss this until I wrote the review than you rang me trying to bribe me not to post this review. I’m sorry Ross but I’m speaking the truth. You make me furious when you tell me this was 4 years ago which was actually 3 years ago. Do you think it makes it fine when this occurred 3 years or anytime? You are lucky I didn’t seek legal compensation from you for malpractice as I could not run properly for 2 years and my back still hurts today if I’m not careful. Who knows what would of happened if I didn’t come to your clinic and get bad advise making it worse and had of gone to a good osteopath to start with. Amazing results in just the first 5 sessions enabled me to go on a 12 night cruise without the aid of a crutch, on the cruise I noticed quite a number of other people with a similar condition as me, I noticed their behavior was quite less active as mine. At Feedom a clear diagnosis and treatment plan is provided, now after 6 months the strength and possitive impact on my life is fantastic, feeling independent and strong. When is "Sports Medicine" clinic not a sports medicine clinic? When it doesn't have a medical doctor.Alas, I was mislead by its name while trying to sort a simple, sport related medical issue. $83.50 and 50% of an attempted physiotherapy consultation later I'm a little poorer, a little wiser about misleading names, but not further along to solving my medical problem.Staff was earnest, well meaning and friendly (ergo not 1 or 2 stars), but single tracked in not listening to me as a patient and shoe horning me into a physio consult. It took 20+ minutes of ever more firmly repeating myself before the physio finally clicked and halted the "consult." After that he did try to find an MD, elsewhere, for me. Otherwise, great mood music, if a bit loud. And lots of great motivational slogans, if that's your thing.
The Team at Freedom Sports Medicine were great at diagnosing, treating and getting my lower back issue sorted. I had previously worked with another Physio who really didn’t improve my situation after several months.I Would recommend Dan, Ross and the team to anyone. They gave me a clear program for flexibility and strengthening my core.I am so glad to have got rid of the pain that was limiting me physically and also affecting me mentally. It’s given me plenty of confidence to do all the things I want plus more !

I had a great experience with Daniel and the team at Freedom. I had a ruptured ligament in my ankle with a few added complications along the way that slowed my rehab down. Daniel was extremely patient throughout the whole process and answered my numerous questions knowledgeably. I am now back racing and looking forward to the upcoming triathlon season! After a suspected ACL injury & being on crutches for a few weeks, I decided to bite the bullet and see the team at Freedom Sport Medicine. Best decision ever! Ross was able to get me walking after the first session, I got my independence and freedom back while awaiting surgery. Not your standard partice.Arrived skeptical from a history of physios hooking me up to electrodes and just being provided stretches while they see three patients at once.Enter Freedom sports, who sat me down, listened to my problems and why I wanted to be there not why I needed to be there. From that moment a program was designed for my body with levels to achieve. 10 weeks later my original issues are improved, posture is better and energy is lifted with noticeable improvments in strength and mobility.A program designed for you to follow, a new facility that is welcoming from the front desk to staff to the owner himself. Staff seem to take their clients accountability at the for front and make sure for the 30-45 minutes, you are the priority.Keep it up and keep coming back.

I cant recommend Freedom Sports Medicine enought. I have never had a physio as good as Daniel, he is knowledgeable, kind and caring. Daniel has provided me with excellent therapies and exercises while I recover from my injury and while supporting my life style and my love for gym work and fitness. Under Daniel's care I have noticed massive improvements not only with my shoulder, arm and hand but my performance at the gym where Im lifting heavier than I did before I was injured.
